How often should I replace my foundation bottle or compact?

Hey everyone, I've had the same foundation bottle for quite a while now, and I'm starting to wonder if it's still okay to use and how do I know if it's expired. How frequently should I be replacing my foundation, whether it's in a bottle or compact? I want to ensure my makeup stays fresh and doesn't negatively affect my skin. Any advice or guidelines would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, so at the back of every makeup product, there is a label that tells you for how long you should keep using the foundation.
Here’s a picture of it:

So, if you bought your compact foundation today and the label at the back has the number 12, this means that your foundation is okay to be used for up to 12 months. Past that period, it has expired.
This guide applies not only to foundation but to every single makeup or skincare product you own.
