How do I prevent foundation from clinging to dry patches?
Asked a year ago
Hey community, I'm having a recurring issue with my foundation. Whenever I apply it, it seems to cling to the dry patches on my face, making them even more noticeable. I've tried various application techniques, but can't seem to get it right. Does anyone have tips or product recommendations to prevent foundation from accentuating dry spots? I'm striving for a seamless look. Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

Hey! Well, a hydrating or serum-based foundation is one of the best decisions you’ll make if you have very dry skin. Another tip is to apply a hydrating makeup mist throughout the day. After spraying it on, press the mist onto your skin with a sponge.
I also found that applying foundation with a damp beauty sponge is a great way of melting the foundation onto your skin so that it doesn’t cling to dry patches.
