Which primers work best with water-based foundations?

Hey all, I've recently switched to a water-based foundation, but I'm noticing that my current primer doesn't seem to mesh well with it. Has anyone else faced this issue? Can you recommend primers that pair effectively with water-based foundations? I'm hoping to get that flawless finish without any complications. Thanks for your insights!
