What's the best way to make eyeliner stay put during humid weather?

Hi! I've been dealing with a frustrating problem lately when it comes to my eyeliner – it just won't stay put during humid weather! It seems that no matter what I do, my eyeliner starts smudging and melting off in the heat and humidity, leaving me with a less-than-desirable makeup look. Does anyone have any solutions for this. thank you!

This a common issue with those who suffer from oily eyelids, but it can happen to anyone under the right circumstances such as humid weather.  My solution to this has been to wear waterproof eyeliner. 
I know some people prefer smudge-proof eyeliner, but from experience, my eyeliner stays in place if it is waterproof.
