Does anyone have experiences with using eyeliner stencils for precise application?

Hey, so I love eyeliner stencils, especially when I am trying a new style of eyeliner. To have an easier time when using eyeliner stencils, it is best to do this on a bare face; make it your first makeup step. In my case, I like doing my makeup in this order because I get to clean up the edges of the eyeliner without making a mess or removing other makeup.

During the application process, I rest the arm that is holding up the stencil on my vanity for steadiness. I only remove the stencil once I have filled up the space. Once I remove the stencil, I check for any inconsistencies, and I finalize it by cleaning up the edges or slowly filling in gaps.
