Does anyone have experiences with using eyeliner stencils for precise application?

Hello, I'm curious about whether anyone has had experiences using eyeliner stencils or templates to help with eyeliner application. It's been a bit frustrating because I want my eyeliner to be on point, but my hand isn't always the steadiest when it comes to application. Appreciate any suggestions!

Hey, so I love eyeliner stencils, especially when I am trying a new style of eyeliner. To have an easier time when using eyeliner stencils, it is best to do this on a bare face; make it your first makeup step. In my case, I like doing my makeup in this order because I get to clean up the edges of the eyeliner without making a mess or removing other makeup.
During the application process, I rest the arm that is holding up the stencil on my vanity for steadiness. I only remove the stencil once I have filled up the space. Once I remove the stencil, I check for any inconsistencies, and I finalize it by cleaning up the edges or slowly filling in gaps.
