Best type of eyeliner for mature skin to avoid smudging and settling into fine lines?

Hello, I've been dealing with the challenge of eyeliner smudging and settling into fine lines on my mature skin, and it's becoming quite a nuisance. I'm wondering if anyone with similar experiences has found a favorite type of eyeliner that's effective at preventing smudging and doesn't emphasize those pesky fine lines. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hello! When I do my mother’s makeup, I’ve found that pencil eyeliner works best on fine lines and wrinkles. A lot of liquid liners tend to crack on mature skin, but this should not deter you from applying eyeliner. Instead, opt for a creamy kohl, and to avoid smudging you can always set the eyeliner in place with powder that matches the color of the eyeliner.
